A mother and daughter open up about how they both ended up in the porn industry.
Seka Black, 70, and her youngest daughter, Nessi, 23, are both part of the adult entertainment industry — and they even support each other in their careers.
In a YouTube video, the mother-daughter duo opened up about how they got started, with Seka sharing that it all began after she and her husband got involved in the swinging lifestyle.
“I retired from accounting, and now we’re just enjoying ourselves,” Seka said. Nessi recalled that she first discovered what her mother did during a family trip to Disneyland. She came across explicit messages on her mom’s phone, which led her to figure things out.
“It was the last thing I ever expected you to be doing, but once I put the puzzle pieces together, I actually thought it was really cool,” Nessi said.
She explained that she’d always had an interest in the industry but held off on getting involved too young.
Nessi began experimenting with adult camming platforms at 18, but didn’t fully dive into creating content until she was about 20.
Today, both Seka and Nessi create adult content on OnlyFans, though Seka has taken it a step further by starring in several adult films for major studios.
While the two don’t work together on content, Seka revealed that her husband—who is also Nessi’s father—often assists her behind the scenes.
“Daddy is my videographer, editor… so we have fun together,” Seka said.
Nessi shared that her fiancé is also involved in her work, and said their relationship has actually improved since leaving behind the stress of traditional 9-to-5 jobs.
“Me and my fiancé went to trade school and developed other skills before we jumped into this, just in case I didn’t want to continue with it,” Nessi explained.
Unlike her mother, who entered the adult industry after retiring from a career in accounting, Nessi made the move much earlier.
“I wasn’t happy with my job at the condo, so I thought, ‘I’m just gonna try OnlyFans,’” she said, noting that her mom encouraged her to “go for it” when she first brought up the idea.
She also mentioned that her parents were fully supportive and had no objections to her starting an OnlyFans account.
Seka added, “At that time, we were even trying to give you advice! But this younger generation is just better with the technology than we are.”
Coming from different generations, the two have been able to support each other in navigating the adult industry in their own unique ways.
While Nessi helps her mom with social media and tech-savvy tools, Seka guides her daughter through the business side of the adult entertainment world.
Although they don’t create content together, Nessi admitted it can get a little awkward when fans of her mom reach out to her on Instagram.
Seka has made a name for herself in the adult industry and was recently nominated for an AVN Award—often considered the “Oscars of porn.”
While she didn’t take home the win, she turned heads on the red carpet in a dazzling ruby-red gown.
As for retirement, the 70-year-old shared that she doesn’t plan on slowing down anytime soon, hoping to keep going for at least another five years.
“I take each day as it comes and just wing it!” Seka said.
